The first British astronaut from the European Space Agency to go to the International Space Station, Tim spent an incredible 6 years training for the mission. As part of his preparation, he had to learn Russian, master diving and spend a week in a cave.
Orbiting 400km away, Tim used technology to stay connected with planet Earth - tweeting the Queen and even reading bedtime stories that were broadcast to over two million children.
